Essential Functions Statement(s)

  • Greet customers and assist according to flex-service program.
  • Open and close cash registers, performing tasks, such as counting money and balancing cash drawer.
  • Maintain knowledge of current sales and promotions, policies regarding payment and exchanges, layaway program, gift cards and security practices.
  • Accurately and efficiently ring on registers and accurately maintain all cash and media at the registers.
  • Maintain orderly appearance of cash wrap.
  • Receive payment by cash, check, credit cards, vouchers, or automatic debits.
  • Issue receipts, refunds, credits, or change due to customers.
  • Count money in cash drawers at the beginning of shifts to ensure that amounts are correct and that there is adequate change.
  • Watch for and recognize security risks and thefts, and notify management of these situations.
  • Assist in floor moves, merchandising, display maintenance, and general housekeeping.
  • Assist in processing and replenishing merchandise and monitoring floor stock for reactive merchandising.
  • Participate in preparation for year-end inventory or cycle counts.
  • Recommend and assist in selection or help locate merchandise in the store based on the customer needs and desires.
  • Assist customers in the fitting rooms as needed.
  • Clean shelves, counters, tables, racks, fixtures, employee restroom, stockroom, break room when assigned.
  • Any other tasks as assigned from time to time by the store manager or the manager-on-duty during your work shift.

STORE MANAGER

  • General Scope of Position: Open and close store based on company guidelines. Know concepts of visual presentation and use this knowledge to executive and maintain merchandise changes. Manage loss prevention practices to safeguard company funds, property and store inventory from internal and external losses. Maintain store appearance including product replenishment, general housekeeping of store and completing opening and closing procedures. Communicate with District Manager in regard to all operational activities.

SR. ASSISTANT MANAGER

POSITION SUMMARY
Assists in supervision and management of store operations while contributing to the store's performance objectives through sales, customer service, merchandise presentation, human resources and loss prevention.
